Can PLAUD NOTE only be used with iPhones?

  • PLAUD NOTE can be used with any kind of phones. With an iPhone, you can attach the PLAUD NOTE to the back of your device and activate phone call recording mode to record calls. For other phones, a PLAUD NOTE Case, compatible with MagSafe and equipped with a MagSafe Ring, is available. 
  • For non-phone call conversations, you can simply place the PLAUD NOTE nearby to record the audio.

    Do I need to buy a PLAUD NOTE Case together?

    • 1 black PLAUD NOTE Case (Compatible with MagSafe) is already included in the PLAUD NOTE package. 
    • If you prefer other colors of PLAUD NOTE Case, you can purchase extra PLAUD NOTE Cases together. 

     

    About PLAUD AI Membership

    What functions are available by subscribing to PLAUD AI Membership?

    • We offer FREE PLAUD AI Memberships with different transcription quota. 
    • Within your transcription quota, you can use transcription and summarization features enabled by AI. 
    • If you run out of transcription quota, you cannot use transcription and summarization features any more. But you can still use PLAUD devices to record audios and playback, in your devices, Apps / Webs, or in the free cloud storage

     

    Why do users have to pay for PLAUD.AI Membership? 

    • PLAUD NOTE integrates OpenAI's API, Microsoft Azure API, and other services, which incur costs as we continuously upgrade to the latest AI models. 
    • Furthermore, the PLAUD.AI team develops in-house AI agents to perform as AI Business Partners for individuals and businesses to achieve the most. 
    • By subscribing to PLAUD.AI Membership, you can boost work efficiency, save valuable time, and even generate more sales

     

    Data Privacy

    How do you ensure data privacy?

    • User data and privacy are our top priority. Multiple privacy and security mechanisms are in place, encompassing local storage, data transmission, and cloud data storage. All operations require your explicit permission before processing. Transcription and summary data are connected through encrypted ports with the ChatGPT API and will not be used for large model training or sales. All user data undergoes desensitization processing, meaning user recordings and information are stored separately and safely.  
    • We work with top global legal firms, AWS and Google Cloud teams to verify its security measures. We incorporate General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other critical standards into data practices to make sure our users have confidence in our security. PLAUD.AI is committed to the importance of trust and transparency for the benefit of our users and does not voluntarily provide government or law enforcement agencies with access to any data about users for surveillance purposes. 

     

    How do you store the data? 

    • Device: When you record with PLAUD devices, the audio data will be saved on the devices with 64G local memory. 
    • App or Web: After you connect your device to the PLAUD App or PLAUD Web, the data will be automatically transferred to your App or Web and deleted from your devices. 
    • Cloud: You can manually select to upload your data to the cloud via “Me” - “PLAUD CLOUD” - “Sync”. We offer 10,000 mins free cloud storage.
